According to Research and Markets, climbing gyms were a 3.59 billion dollar industry in 2024, and are expected to experience a compound annual growth rate of 9.2% in coming years.
Climbing gyms have the advantage of appealing to a wide market. In addition to providing an engaging and accessible way to maintain personal fitness, climbing gyms can provide excellent family entertainment, and community engagement. This can be obtained through personal fitness classes, designated children’s recreation areas, youth camps and teams, and special events.
